On weekdays, Amor y Amargo’s door opens at 5 PM and closes an hour after midnight, or 1 AM. Sunday hours are Noon to 1 AM. Saturday is when you can while away the most hours, spending from Noon until 3 AM getting an education in all things liquid, bitter and lovable.
From Noon to 4:30 PM on weekends, Amor y Amargo offers a double buzz: coffee cocktails made with craft-roasted beans and aperitifs. Use aperitifs to start a meal, but use aperitifs with caffeine to start your day. By the time you’re finished, the brunch rush will be over. Nothing is more civilized than avoiding an hour-long line for brunch.
