7 Reasons to Get Excited About Drinking in NYC this Summer |
Barcade (148 West 24th St., 718-302-6464)
Barcade, a long-loved establishment in Williamsburg, opened up in Manhattan on June 3. Part bar and part arcade, as the name suggests, Barcade hosts a bunch of classic games, including Ms. Pacman and Frogger, and manages a dive bar feel in spite of its “theme.” At least, that’s so in the Brooklyn venue. The Manhattan version should be roomier, but hopefully won’t succumb to the generic vibe the borough’s establishments often take on to please tourists.
