Come for the Meats, Stay for the Beers at Dinosaur Bar-B-Que
When you’re half a block away from the Harlem limb (dinosaurs don’t have branches) of Dinosaur Bar-B-Que, you can smell the smoke and char. That’s when you’re upwind. When the breeze comes off of the Hudson, they must be salivating through lectures at Columbia University, just a short walk away. Dinosaur has won awards for its barbecue, but the smoke reveals no secrets. What you can’t smell is Dinosaur’s hidden gems: a noteworthy craft beer menu and beer flights to make a Cicerone student claim a permanent seat at the bar.
