So many happy hour spots, so little time. With drink specials on every corner, it can be tough to know which spots are worthwhile. Centrally located with countless bars and restaurants, the Flatiron district will quickly become your new after-work go-to once you’ve tried these happy hour haunts.
 
This chic Italian bistro is known for its fresh cheese and mouthwatering meals—the amazing happy hour specials are all too often overlooked. Offered every day from 3–7 PM, they have discounted house wine and cocktails plus a special bar menu for snacking that includes signature selections like pizza meat and cheese pairings. No great happy hour is truly complete without a margarita, and you can have a few at Mexicue for the $5 price tag. Or, for something stronger, opt for the $2 cinnamon-infused tequila shots. Pair the strong and flavorful drinks with Mexican street corn topped with a creamy chipotle sauce and cotija cheese or the charred jalapeno guacamole with watermelon radish chips. This bar is a classic Flatiron establishment. Packed to the brim every night for happy hour, it’s a solid dive with a lively crowd and extensive beer menu. They offer $5 beer and app specials daily from 4:30–6:30 PM plus a $1 oyster happy hour that helps them live up to their name. (14 E. 23rd Street; 212-353-2400)
 
Recently relocated to the north side of Union Square, Barn Joo is a must-try for creative cocktails and modern Korean fusion. Every weekend until 7 PM they serve up their unique cocktails at half price for only $7 each. The fan favorite Beeline features lavender-infused vodka paired with honey and lemon while the Seoul Mule nods to the restaurant’s Korean roots. (35 Union Square West; 646-398-9663)
 
This Flatiron establishment is a must-try for happy hour. The quirky decor and stocked seafood bar make for great ambiance and the prices can’t be beat. $2 oysters and clams are available from 5–7PM every week day along with $10 cocktails, $6 beet and discounted wine by the glass.
