This bar is a classic Flatiron establishment. Packed to the brim every night for happy hour, it’s a solid dive with a lively crowd and extensive beer menu. Recently relocated to the north side of Union Square, Barn Joo is a must-try for creative cocktails and modern Korean fusion. Every weekend until 7 PM they serve up their unique cocktails at half price for only $7 each. The fan favorite Beeline features lavender-infused vodka paired with honey and lemon while the Seoul Mule nods to the restaurant’s Korean roots. (35 Union Square West; 646-398-9663)

 

This Flatiron establishment is a must-try for happy hour. The quirky decor and stocked seafood bar make for great ambiance and the prices can’t be beat. $2 oysters and clams are available from 5–7PM every week day along with $10 cocktails, $6 beet and discounted wine by the glass.
