If you find yourself driving through the Hamptons one day and need an emergency bottle of rosé, you’re covered — a winemaker has opened a rosé drive-thru in Sagaponack, according to The Daily Meal.
Created by
Joey Wölffer, the co-owner of
Wölffer Estate Vineyard, this one-of-a-kind service offers drivers the chance to pick up bottles of rosé on the go, and the staff will even help you load it into your car on-site.
Wölffer told Business Insider, “the rosé drive-thru had been a dream of mine for a while and we are so glad it's come to fruition. We are all about serving our community and this is just another example of that!”
Cases are available and are priced at $195 for the vineyard’s estate rosé and $260 for the “summer in a bottle” rosé, and the drive-thru will be open Fridays and Saturdays from 11 AM to 2 PM. If you find yourself in the area, drive on through and grab a case of summer’s favorite drink. And, of course, save the wine until you get home — The Drink Nation reminds you not to drink and drive!
