Let’s face it — Italians know how to drink, it’s just that simple. There’s a drink for every state of mind or feeling, including Amaros, which are designed as a way to help digestion, what a world. If you’re interested in drinking like an Italian without, you know, flying there, you should probably check out LaRina Pastificio & Vino at 387 Myrtle Ave in Brooklyn.
LaRina is launching a new fall
cocktail list featuring a wide variety of Italian classics. On top of an extensive wine list, Amaros, and Negronis, it includes cocktails like:
The Young Professor: Amaro Lucano (lavender, fennel and citrus notes), Vermouth Rosso del Professore, Gazzosa (an Amalfi lemon soda).
Mezzo E Mezzo: Smoky rhubarb Sfumato Rabarbaro Amaro, Campari, and soda.
Viale Torino: Elijah Craig, Cocchi Rosa and grapefruit-flavored Luna Amara Bitter
La Fumosa: Mezcal infused with lemon verbena, Cynar, Vergano Americano and Carpano Antica
Rapa Old Fashioned: McKenzie Rye, Rapa Liquore Ciliege Nere (cherry liqueur), Sicilian Amaro Averna with notes of vanilla and dark chocolate
Shandy from the Stars: Belgian Wheat Ale and Cognac, apricot liqueur, tamarind cordial.
Alongside a solid food menu for both
dinner and
brunch with prices that won’t break the bank, LaRina is an excellent spot for all of your food & drink needs, so stop by for a little taste of Italy without leaving Manhattan.
