Experience the craft beer renaissance in New York City without the driving with the New York Beer & Brewery Tour. Once upon a time, New York was the brewing capital of America. Through these tours, guests can see and celebrate the exciting history of beer in NYC and what’s happening today. The best part is guests can enjoy the fruits of the breweries’ labor without having to drive.

On this four-hour tour, guests will visit the following beer-centric locations: Birreria Brewery in the Flatiron District of Manhattan to see how craft beer is made and a taste of authentic Italian-style cask ales; Brooklyn Brewery in Williamsburg and learn about the history of this great brewery while enjoying a pint; Old Brewer’s Row in Bushwick and see a cluster of historic buildings that once were home to the breweries that made 10% of all the beer produced in America; Spuyten Duyvil, also in Williamsburg, where guests will enjoy artisanal food pairings at one of the nation’s highest rated brewpubs; and Bohemian Hall in Astoria where guests will sample true Czech beer and snacks in this traditional Czech beer garden established over 100 years ago.

Guests will visit these places on a comfortable bus with an experienced tour guide explaining the sites and tastes that surround you. While on the tour, visitors will learn about the rich history of beer brewing, see remnants of Brooklyn’s brewing history, enjoy a freshly baked pretzel from Sigmund Pretzel Shop and other snacks and - the best part - taste craft beers at each stop.

Now in its fifth year, the New York Beer and Brewery Tours run Saturdays and Sundays starting at 11:30 AM at La Birreria.
