Point Pleasant Jazz and Blues Festival Features Craft Beer and Wine Garden
Music combines with food, wine, and plenty of beer as the annual Point Pleasant Jazz and Blues Festival returns to Riverfront Park this weekend. The Jersey Shore Jazz and Blues Foundation- which has been organizing jazz festivals up and down the coast for 20 years- makes a stop in their Summer Series of Festivals to crank up the volume with lots of contemporary performers.
This annual festival brings out thousands of locals for a full day of food and tunes. Live performers go from Noon to 8 PM, with a full lineup including performers like:
Crimson Sky
Trish Mata Trio
Cobra Brothers featuring Carlos Colina
Jane Stuart Quartet
James Day and the Fish Fry
The night ends with headliner Debbie Davies, a two-time Best Contemporary Female Blues Artist winner and Blues Music Award nominee 10 times over.
Food is available for sale, and guests over 21 can cool off in the specialty Lagunitas Garden, where you can take your pick from Lagunitas craft offerings or wines by the glass. Best yet? The entire event is free to the public and dog-friendly. So while the beer and wine may entice, you’ll find more family-friendly options for younger guests too.
