Jose Garces, Iron Chef and the brains behind more than dozen restaurants in Philadelphia, Chicago, Palm Springs and Scottsdale, AZ, is coming to New York. He and his Garces Group are the latest to sign on with Brookfield Place, the multi-million dollar dining and retail complex that’s coming together on the site of the former World Financial Center in Lower Manhattan.

Details about the concept, design and timeline remain a mystery. All that’s known for sure right now is, it’s coming, and will be open in 2015.

The new Garces restaurant joins more than a dozen other dining projects that are already in progress at the sprawling mixed-use facility, including Umami Burger, Dos Toros Taqueria, Blue Ribbon Sushi, Mighty Quinn’s, Num Pang Sandwich Shop and the 25,000 sqaure foot French food market, Le District.
