This Summer, You Can Drink Your Rose Out Of a Forty

by The Drink Nation on Apr 10, 2017 in Wine

With summer right around the corner, there’s an entirely new way to drink as much rosé as possible — a company called Forty Ounce Wines is now selling this warm-weather wine in forties, giving drinkers a whole new way to drink “rosé all day.”

40-ounce bottles are typically full of low-quality beer or malt liquor, so it’s certainly a change of pace for rosé to be available in these large-format bottles, but if you’re a frequent rosé drinker or just want to impress at your first barbecue of the summer, these bottles are perfect. The rosé itself is a dry, crisp wine, perfect for the advent of long, sunny days. If you prefer white wine to pink, Forty Ounce Wine also sells a muscadet by the forty. , also sells a muscadet in forties if you prefer white wine to pink.

Currently, rosé forties are only available in New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, California, and Colorado, but only 1,200 cases have been produced, and it’s selling fast — so go find it in one of those states now before it’s all gone.
