There are several new reasons to spend time eating and drinking surrounded by the Beaux-Arts ambiance of Downtown's B&O Brasserie. Of most interest to fans of great vino will be the launch of Wine Down Wednesdays. Starting on February 8, score bottles off the extensive list of reds, whites and sparklers every humpday during dinner service for half-price.
Get more dealage on all days of the week when you link up with the restaurant via social media. Work the Facebook angle to score the discount of the day, which often features tasty bar snacks like 50-cent oysters, $3 flatbreads or $1 sliders. Or, tweet at about B&O to receive a free dessert when you dine in and order an entree on that same day.
The bar menu has also been generally revamped by chef Thomas Dunklin, with an assortment of new bites to accompany your sips. Try the housemade pork cracklins with lime-jalapeno dip ($5), smoked hamachi rillettes ($8) or lobster chorizo ($12) during your next happy hour stop into the historic train station.
