Drink For A Good Cause: No Kid Hungry Happy Hour

Center City office workers and all those committed to ending childhood hunger have a chance to support a great cause when South Street favorite Brauhaus Schmitz hosts a No Kid Hungry Happy Hour on April 11, beginning at 5:30 PM. The event will take place in the Brauer Bund room.

During the two-hour fundraiser, $1 of every $5 German import on tap will be donated to Philadelphia’s No Kid Hungry efforts. Happy-hour goers can also purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win two VIP tickets to Taste of the Nation, taking place on April 28 at the Hotel Monaco and featuring food from nearly 25 of the city’s best restaurants, along with specialty cocktails, wines, premium beer and a silent auction. Chef Chair David Katz is heading up the restaurants, and Mixology Chair Phoebe Esmon is leading the mixologists.
