New York City's Best Gin Bars

Gin is great for summer, but it really is perfect for any time of year. Check out these New York hot spots that are taking this crowd favorite spirit to the next level.

The Gin Parlour
Inspired by the classic gin parlours of the Roaring Twenties, this gin hot-spot boasts all the classics. Serving over 110 premium gin varieties in addition to other liquors, beer and wine, the unique craft concoctions do not disappoint. (111 E. 48th St.; 212-755-5900)

The Winslow
In a popular location right on 14th street, this bar is the best of high meets low. A casual atmosphere and well-done bar menu give it an accessible and laid back feel, while the thoughtfully composed cocktails will appeal to even the most seasoned drinkers. Their menu boasts an entire “Ginventory” to any gin-enthusiast’s delight. (243 E. 14th St.; 212-777-7717)

Bathtub Gin
This speakeasy style hotspot is a hidden gem in Chelsea. Enter through the front coffee shop and be transported to the Prohibition-era space, complete with brass bathtub in the center of the room. The gin-heavy cocktail menu has an array of options, from varying gin and tonics to more unique offerings like the Wakey Juice Joe with cold brew and matcha. (132 9th Ave.; 646-559-1671)

Cata
The unlikely combination of Spanish food and a gin and tonic specialty is rare, but this tapas restaurant will not disappoint on either front. WIth a menu that ranges from oysters to stuffed squid to duck paella, it has a little something for anyone. (245 Bowery; 212-505-2282)
