Budweiser Clydesdales Come to Fairmount, August 30

This weekend, the Ben Franklin Parkway will come alive with the Budweiser Made in America Festival, featuring Jay-Z, Pearl Jam and a ton of other well-known musicians and bands. As part of the leadup to that event, the famous Budweiser Clydesdales will be parading through Fairmount and stopping at 13 different bars on the way.

We hear that in addition to delivering Bud products, the majestic horses will also drop off Goose Island brews (a Chicago craft brewery recently acquired by the macrobrewer), and all these bars have great local crafts available anyway. So drink Bud or don’t, but head over to see these beautiful creatures strutting down Fairmount Avenue.
