Easter Dining & Events in Washington, D.C.

The tulips are blooming, the birds are chirping and the bunnies are hopping — it’s time for Easter. A series of eating and drinking events are taking place around town throughout the weekend, with boozy fun as well as entertainment for the little ones. Check out our rundown and enjoy your holiday!

701 Restaurant: The Penn Quarter New American will be offering a $45 per person three-course menu on Sunday, April 8.  Brunch will be available 11 AM–3 PM and dinner will be served 5–9:30 PM.  Added bonus: 701’s live jazz duo of piano and bass will be performing during Easter service.

Assaggi Osteria: Domenico Cornacchia’s McLean, VA restaurant will offer a special á la carte menu with Italian highlights.  Guests can also opt for a $55 per person six-course tasting menu for the entire table.

Black Market Bistro: Chef Dane Sewlall will serve an a la carte brunch from 10 AM–2:30 PM on Sunday, April 8 at this family-owned Garrett Park restaurant. A kids menu will also be available for children 12 and under.

Black’s Bar & Kitchen: An unlimited brunch buffet will be served 11 AM–2:30 PM on Easter Sunday for $33 per person or $12 for kids 12 and under.  A Champagne brunch option is also available for $45 per person, including unlimited pours throughout the meal.  Brunch will also be available á la carte for a light bite for those with smaller appetites, and prices range from $11 to $16 for featured dishes.

BlackSalt: Easter Sunday brings a special á la carte brunch menu, served 10:30 AM–3 PM. Look for dishes like fried bay oyster po’ boy with field greens, BlackSalt bacon and chive aioli, as well as breakfast favorites such as English scones with Devonshire cream or housemade french toast.  Prices range from $4 to $19.

Blue Duck Tavern: The farm-to-table favorite will offer brunch 10:30 AM–3:30PM on Sunday, April 8 for $90 per person for adults and $42.50 for children aged 6–12.  Children under six years of age are complimentary. The three-course menu begins with a choice of starters, including seasonal salads, meats, breads and cheeses.  Next up, guests will have a choice of entrée and sides from the holiday menu.

Pearl Dive Oyster Palace: Head to 14th Street for a New Orleans-inspired feast on Sunday, April 8. Served from 11 AM–3 PM, chef Danny Wells’ Easter menu will feature fresh and sustainable seafood. Look for stuffed brioche french toast with chocolate Frangelico ganache and fried chicken with salt roasted potatoes, braised organic greens and creamy slaw.

Ping Pong: Spend Easter in Chinatown with a $25 all-you-can-eat dim sum and $15 bottomless mimosas. Bonus (?): guests in pajamas or bunny themed outfits will receive 15% off.

Ris: Chef/owner Ris Lacoste has prepared a special holiday menu for both brunch and dinner featuring a salmon sampler; ham Wellington with gruyere potatoes, pan roasted asparagus, glazed carrots and mustard sauce; and a roasted rack of American lamb. Guests can also enjoy a selection of Easter cookies, hot cross buns, colored eggs and candy.

Roof Terrace Restaurant: A brunch buffet runs $39.95 for adults and $20 for children, and the Easter bunny will be present for photo opportunities.

Station 4: Chef Orlando Amaro has prepared a three-course, pre-fixe menu for $38 per person, served 5–11 PM. Expect elevated takes on traditional faves like roasted leg of lamb with pea & mint risotto and Parmesan Reggiano.

Zaytinya: Jose Andres’ Mediterranean will be serving a massive $99 ten-course meal during Greek Easter from April 8–22. Á la carte options will also be available, priced $8–$14. In addition to the food options, two special cocktails will be served for $13 each.
