New Belgium La Folie 2012 Official Draft Debut

For the first time in D.C., beer lovers will have a chance to sip on the taste of early spring La Folie from New Belgium on draft. Attendees of the debut will also have the chance to meet the impressive woman behind the blended sour brown ale, New Belgium's Master Blender Lauren Salazar. Lauren will be on hand to talk about the intricacies of tasting, aging, and blending, showcasing the amazing talents she brings to one of New Belgium's original, enduring, and now cult craft creations. La Folie is yearly blended from a sour brown base ale—who is lovingly known as Oscar— that has been aged for 1, 2, and 3 years in French oak barrels.
