Dunkel Dare Returns to Frankford Hall for Its Final Round; Late Night Quizzo at Perch Pub, Thurs., June 5

Had enough of Philly Beer Week yet? We didn’t think so. Don’t lose steam yet, there’s still four more days left. Tonight there’s a ton of suds-sipping fun on tap. Below are our picks for the evening.

All Day Pig Roast
Varga Bar (941 Spruce St.; 215-627-5200)
Like the mythical Phoenix rising from its own ashes with a juicy, succulent roasted pig on spit in tow, Varga Bar, which was briefly out of commission this week from a fire, is back today with an all-day pig roast. Stop in for a big plate of roasted suckling pig and some cold ones to wash it all down.

Dunkel Dare
Frankford Hall (1210 Frankford Ave.; 215-634-3338)
From 7 - 9 PM this evening, TV personality Marc Summers returns to Frankford Hall to preside over the final round of the sudsiest, messiest real-life game show, Dunkel Dare. Tonight pits locals Yards Brewing Company and Victory Brewing Company against each other for all the green-slimed glory. Come out and show your support.

Philly Beer Week Beer Garden
Shambles at Headhouse Square (200 Pine St.)
It’s the final evening for the Philly Beer Week Beer Garden at the Shambles at Headhouse Square. On tap for tonight’s festivities are beers from Barren Hill, Ommegang, Flying Fish, Nodding Head, Round Guys, Stoudt's, and Yards.

Fast Times at Percy Street
Percy Street Barbecue (900 South St.; 215-625-8510)
Percy Street traded in its mecahnical bull and shark for a mechanical surfboard, and you can try your best to hang ten on it as they welcome Colorado-based brewery Oskar Blues for a Fast Times at Ridgemont High-themed party. The gnarliest surfer scores a championship trophy. Surfer gear and 80s era costumes are encouraged.

Late Night Quizzo
Perch Pub (1345 Locust St.; 215-546-4090)
Join Quiz Master Kevin Romer of Stoudts Brewing at Perch Pub for a night of beer and beer trivia. Bring your thinking cap because this year the questions are tougher and the prizes are bigger. The fun starts around 10 PM when you can grab some Philly Beer Week exclusive brews by Stoudts and some crowd favorites.
