Karnival
Celebrate Karneval all week long from February 27 until March 4 at Brauhaus Schmitz. Both Brauhaus Schmitz and Wursthaus Schmitz in the Reading Terminal Market will be serving up fastnachts, traditional German donuts, that week to celebrate.
Go to Brauhaus Schmitz in Karneval-inspired costume any time between Thusday and Tuesday of that week, and you'll be entered to win a trip to Oktoberfest in Munich! The winner will be announced at 10 PM on Tuesday, March 4. Complementary appetizers and Kölsch specials will be running all night long.
Altweiberfaschnacht Party- Thursday, February 27, is traditionally ladies night in Germany. Ladies get half price Kölsch.
Karneval Party- Friday, February 28, Brauhaus is throwing a huge party dedicated to Karneval. $50 gets you multiple entries to win the grand prize trip to Oktoberfest, plenty of appetizers, and Kölsch beers. There will also be a costume contest this night and the best dressed will win a $50 gift card from the restaurant. Tickets are available here.
