Where to Watch Super Bowl XLVIII in DC

The kickoff for Super Bowl XLVIII takes place at 6:30 PM on Sunday, February 2, but you don’t want to wait for the last minute to plan your day. Whether you’re in it for the sports, the ads or just the party atmosphere, check out these great specials at bars all over D.C. May the best team win, but more importantly, may the best drinks be yours! (Know a special we missed? We'll be updating throughout the week, so please let us know.)

Crystal City Sports Pub: For $40 you get all-access to an endless appetizer buffet loaded down with everything from marinated meatballs and pigs in a blanket to Nine Inning Nachos and tons of wings. Half time brings an equally impressive dinner buffet that includes salad, herb-crusted prime rib, lemon pepper chicken, salmon citron and more.

Jack Rose Dining Saloon: Super “Beer” Bowl, which will have brews from 3 Stars and Flying Dog squaring off while Super “Chili” Bowl runs almost simultaneously with bottomless bowls of chili and free cornbread. Drink specials include $5 featured beers from 3 Stars and Flying Dog; $5 punch and whiskey shots; and $5 pints.

Mellow Mushroom: Head to Mellow Mushroom's Adams Morgan location to watch the big game on the big screen. The game will be on the 10 foot HD projector with sound, and you can enjoy happy hour specials from 3-7 PM in addition to $2 pints of Labatt Blue all day long.

The Mighty Pint: Mighty Pint presents The Big Game XLVIII, a $15 open bar from 5 PM until a winner is named. The deal covers Miller Lite, Yuengling and Sam Adams, plus all rail drinks. Get tickets here, or pay $20 at the door.

Pour House: Serving free popcorn and offering pitchers of Bud Light for $12; Yuengling $14; and craft beers $16 while the game is on.

Rhino Bar & Pumphouse: Super Bowl Sunday specials include 25 cent wings and $10 pitchers.

Sign of the Whale: For the big game there’s multiple party and table packages available in addition to the $10 Coors Light and Yuengling pitchers, $3 drafts, and $5 Jameson mixed drinks.

Tonic: Pregame with Tonic’s “Super Bowl Tailgate,” which kicks off at 3:30 PM with half off burgers, 75 cent wings, and $3 Peyotn’s punch. At 6:30 the regular football specials go into effect with $3 Miller High Life, $4 Flying Dog drafts, $6 nachos and totchos, and $6 Cheese Monger.

The Town Tavern: Town Tavern is promising specials “all game day long,” with $3 domestic bottles, $10 Bud Light pitchers, $12 wing and pitcher combos and more.

Wilson Tavern: This Arlington bar is kicking off its Super Bowl celebrations at 5:30 PM with all-you-can-eat crab legs for $20.
