After 8 years of tending bar at Harefield Road and Pencil Factory, Torrey teamed up with owners Sean O'Rourke and John Bermingham to open Matt Torrey's in March of 2010. This East Williamsburg neighborhood bar serves 20 craft beers on draft (most of them from New York State), another 20 or more in bottles and cans, and was voted Best Beer Bar in Brooklyn by L Magazine in 2012.
